A standard Yamaha bass converted to 31 equal temperament – once again by Jerry Crosson at The Fret Workshop. This instrument has taken some 200 hours to re-fret, but the results are really worth Jerry’s time (and patience!)
It will feature in the oratorio “All About & To A Female Artist”, from a text by Shelagh Delaney. Mastering the fretboard will be something of a challenge, but the perfect set-up provided by Jerry goes a long way to make this a very playable, very microtonally wonderful instrument.
